New Year and New Mappings
Warm wishes for a happy new year to all of our users!
On the 19th of December, we turned off our old mappings view and replaced it with an experience that addresses many of the ideas and feedback we have received from our users.
We highlighted most of these changes in our previous release note.
There have been additional improvements made to the new experience since then.
Revamped colors and font sizes
- Improved Readability: We've increased the font sizes to make the text easier to read.
- Optimized Color Scheme: The colors for edit and view modes have been reversed, making it easier to distinguish between these two phases of work.
Badge to display mappings that cannot be edited in the UI
We've added badges to mappings that can’t be edited directly in the UI, typically those that are less frequently used. Unlike before, where these mappings appeared as empty lines, they’re now clearly marked with a badge for better visibility.
When working with hidden mappings, the rule should be exported, changes made in the export file and then imported to create a new version of the rule.
Support for using attributes in conditional mappings
You can now use attributes directly in conditional mappings. This allows for more dynamic checks, such as verifying if a conversation attribute matches a specific message value.
We've added a toggle on the source side of conditional mappings. This toggle can be turned on and off to add attributes without the need to encase them in ${}
syntax, or to map static text as before. Read more in our routing rule article.
